CUPE Local 217 Bargaining Survey

Dear members,

As our current collective agreement comes to an end, CUPE Local 217 will soon be negotiating with our employer to renew it. We want to create a demonstrated need to support the unions wants and needs to get the best agreement possible.

This survey is one of the primary ways we are gathering information in advance of bargaining. We need to hear from you to help set our priorities at the bargaining table. Our top priority is to work together to get the best contract possible. This survey is designed to get more information about bargaining priorities.

The committee’s core mandate and primary objective is to always get the best total compensation possible without leaving any cash on the table. We have a committed team and resources available from the national union to support our positions – most of all compensation. We’ll always seek to meet the members' needs and wants with an informed position on monetary items. Our commitment is to deliver the best deal possible.

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey!

Information gathered in this survey will not be shared with the employer. The results will remain anonymous and be kept confidential. Survey results will be collected and analyzed by staff at CUPE, and results will be presented to the bargaining committee.

Collective bargaining is always an important time for our members, and it is an excellent opportunity to have your voices heard. Please answer all the following questions and help position us in the best way possible for a fair collective agreement.

Thank you,
