CUPE L87.06 Municipality of Shuniah 2026 Bargaining Survey

Dear CUPE Member:

CUPE Local 87.06, will soon be negotiating with our Employer for a new Collective Agreement. We want to demonstrate our strength and knowledge and have all information available for the members of the Bargaining Committee to get you the best deal possible.

This survey is one of the primary ways we are gathering information in advance of bargaining. We need to hear from you to help set our priorities at the bargaining table.

Our top priority is and will remain to ensure good wage increases for our members, however, we know that there are health benefits and working conditions that are also important to you. This survey is designed to get more information on those other elements that will make your working conditions optimal.

Information gathered in this survey will not be shared with the Employer. The results will remain anonymous and be kept confidential. Survey results will be collected by staff at CUPE National, and all results will be presented to the Bargaining Committee.

Collective bargaining is always an important time for our members, and it is an excellent opportunity to have your voices heard. Please answer all the following questions and help position us in the best way possible for a fair collective agreement.
